Why the construction matters
The lap shoulder is the detail parents notice. It lets the neckline stretch wide enough to pull the garment down over the shoulders rather than over the face. Place it high on the chest, above where the body starts curving toward the snaps, and use lower press pressure since infant cotton is thin. Never press over the snaps. DTF works better than vinyl here, because the print needs to stay soft against skin and flex as the fabric stretches.
Sizing honestly
