Picking a cap for the decoration
The construction matters more than the color. For embroidery, structured caps hold a dense stitch without puckering, while on an unstructured cap you should keep the design simple and the stitch count low. Leather or faux leather patches work on almost anything and hide seam variation better than direct embroidery. Heat pressed DTF needs a flat surface, so a cap press or a small platen is required, and foam front truckers are the hardest surface to press evenly. On seam placement, a six panel cap has a center seam, so any design wider than about four inches has to be split or moved off center.
Decoration if you would rather not
We embroider and press caps in house. Send the logo and the quantity and we will quote the cap plus the decoration as one price, which is usually cheaper than buying blanks here and paying a separate shop to run them.
